OPERATING The Medisan™ UV Sanitizing Smartphone Case

The MEDISAN™ UV-C  Sanitizing Smartphone Case was designed with the convenience of our users in mind and is easy to use in 3 simple steps:

Step 1:

Connect the MEDISAN™ UV-C  Sanitizing Smartphone Case to a Micro USB Powersource.

Step 2:

Place the item you wish to sanitize into the case and close the lid - the device will automatically begin to sanitize once the lid is shut. The indicator light will blink throughout the duration of the cycle.

Step 3:

The cycle is over in 6 minutes when the indicator light stops blinking. Open the lid to retrieve your newly sanitized item!

The MEDISAN™ UV Tower was designed with our users in mind and is easy to use in 3 simple steps:

Step 1: Connect to a micro USB and charge for 30 minutes.

Step 2: To switch the device on, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds. 

Step 3:Leave the vicinity of the area you are disinfecting. 

The MEDISAN™ UV Tower will automatically switch off after 30 minutes.

The Medisan™ UV Sanitizer CLEANING GUIDE

Safe and effective use

Hold the The Medisan™ UV Sanitizer approximately 1-2 inches from the surface of the item that you wish to sanitize and gradually move the sanitizer over the entire surface area. Allow the light to stay on each area for 5 -10 seconds to ensure optimum exposure. 

WHAT IS UV-C LIGHT?

UV stands for ultraviolet light. Ultraviolet light represents the frequency of light between 100 nanometers (nm) and 400nm and cannot be seen with the naked eye. Within the UV spectrum lie three distinct bands of light: UV-A, UV-B, and UV-C.

UV-A (400nm - 315nm): The long wave UV light (315nm to 400nm) or UV-A refers to what we commonly call “black light.” This is the longest wavelength region and has the lowest energy. UV-A represents the largest portion of natural UV light.

UV-B (315nm - 280nm): The UV-B (280nm to 315nm), or mid-range UV, causes sunburn.

UV-C (280nm - 100nm): The germicidal UV light (100nm to 280nm), or UV-C, is effective in microbial control.

Scientific research has proven that the most effective frequency for microbial destruction is between 280nm and 200nm, which is within the UV-C band. Therefore, as long as the nm frequency of a germicidal lamp is well controlled within that range, the microorganisms will be destroyed effectively. 

Please note: Opportunities for infection are abundant and virtually everywhere, so it is important to realize that use of the Medisan™ UV Sanitizer does not guarantee that the user will avoid illness. To avoid microbial infection, one must take a wide range of precautions. The use of the Medisan™ UV Sanitizer is an important precaution, but not the only precaution one should take.
